Le Meilleur by Adam Wild
Ingredients :
2 fl.oz Calvados
3/4 fl.oz lemon juice
1/4 fl. oz orgeat
1/3 fl.oz orange curaçao
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with a small amount of crushed ice. Whip shake until ice is melted. Poor cocktail unstained into a glass filled with crushed/nugget ice. Garnish with a bouquet of mint, cinnamon stick, and a lemon wheel.

This cocktail is inspired by the Mai Tai, one of my favorite cocktails of all time. In Tahitian mai tai means “out of this world” and the best, so bartender Adam Wild used that inspiration to name this cocktail as well; le meilleur being French for the best. The Calvados used in creating this recipe was from Calvados Morin, specifically their Grand Classique X.O bottle. It’s been aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 20 years making for an incredibly flavorful spirit with notes of vanilla, leather, gingerbread, and apple. The mouthfeel is rich with a long coffee note to finish.
